Functionality and distinctive features:
- You can simulate any combination of short-circuits and interruptions (open phase conditions) in grounded neutral systems;
- System impedance comprises the reactance constituent only, it is also assumed that X1=X2;
- Line impedance comprises resistive and reactive components only, it is further assumed that X1=X2, R1=R2;
- The power system voltage value (line-to-line) as well as the impedance values may be set in both Volts/Ohms respectively as well as in per-unit values. The scale will be changed automatically;
- In case of a line-to-line short-circuit with earth connection, the arc resistance is connected be-tween the earth and the short-circuited phases;
- The phasors indicate currents and voltages in the installation point of the protection device (marked with the protection device symbol);
- Short-circuits and interruptions are simulated with a click on the corresponding circuit breaker.
